Our Team
Hello, I am Liliana Gheorghe and I am a Teacher of English Language at Gheorghe Banea School.
I have been teaching English for 27 years and I really like working on projects with my students.
Erasmus projects give us the opportunity to work on different topic with students from other countries that means the developing of the key competencies such as Communication in foreign language, Digital competence, Social and civic competence, Cultural awareness and expression. Besides, the other competences are developed in an indirect way within the project.
Cinema, my dream is a very interesting topic not only in terms of the proposed objectives but also through the activities of debate and workshops, to discover aspects related to making a film (even a short film) about the problems facing society today, but also by exchanging experiences in the school field and not only.

C1 - Romania Report
The first mobility for teaching, learning and training activities (LTTA) took place in Turkey at the OZEL BAGCILAR SAFAK Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Istanbul, on November 1-5, 2021. Although the first activity was carried out online in the first year of the project, this time the physical activity, in which the students had the opportunity to communicate and express their own opinions, to work together to solve some project tasks, was a success if it is also to think about the opportunity to know the culture of the host country, to share opinions and to find the similarities and differences between the cultures of the participating countries.
1st November 2021 - The first day of mobility began with a speech by the host school principal, who officially opened the project activities. The students coordinated by their accompanying teachers took turns presenting their native country with aspects of culture and education through PPT presentations or small videos made by them. A communication session followed in which students, grouped in mixed groups, discovered together that by knowing and being aware of cultural aspects, people can build a better world for all. The making of small videos by students was a challenge meant to achieve one of the objectives of the project, namely to become familiar with the construction of a film or a PPT presentation: choosing representative images, messages sent to the audience, combining elements of digital construction and even when making a script.
Thus, all this contributes to the development of the key competencies and objectives of this project:
• developing students' knowledge of practical skills related to film-making
• developing social and communication skills
• in-depth knowledge of different cultural features and discovering similarities and differences
• development of ICT and digital skills
In the afternoon, there was a visit to the host school, a technical school that includes many classrooms, laboratories and workshops on the specializations prepared by the school, sports fields and a canteen.
2nd November 2021 - The second day of mobility continued in the host school, by presenting materials related to education in the digital age (advantages, disadvantages, impact on the development of human personality, etc.) and then the students presented small videos made by them about social issues facing their generation (for example, the Romanian team made a video on bullying), or selected films from the Internet with the same problems (the Turkish team presented such a film about mobile phone addiction in at the expense of real life).
Then they discussed together how to avoid or solve such problems both in school and in the family. The aim of this activity was obviously to encourage students to actively address social issues, develop creativity and critical thinking, improve English, develop communication skills using the languages of the partner countries in the project. The discussions took place both frontally and in groups or pairs so that the activity had the expected results.
3rd November 2021 The first part of the day featured cultural activities presented by the Turkish host school, "Watching a short video about Turkish culture and sightseeing", and a cultural exchange of views to improve English and develop communication skills using the languages of partner countries in Turkey. within the project and strengthening the cultural dimension of this project through various cultural activities - "Europe's cultural diversity".
In the afternoon, the Turkish students and teachers presented us with some of the landmarks of Istanbul and Turkey, of course through a cultural trip: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Galata Tower, Taksim Square.
4th November 2021 - The day was dedicated exclusively to visiting Istanbul. Former Constantinople is a city that combines European culture with Asian culture, modern civilization with the traditionalist, wealth and poverty, giving birth to an enviable metropolis. From the Grand Bazaar to Eminonu, to the Suspension Bridge, visiting the Asian part of the city, crossing the suspension bridge, all were for us a wonderful journey through the world of Byzantium once combined with contemporary reality.
5th November 2021 - The first activity was for the coordinating teachers, aspects were discussed for the next meeting in Romania. Given the fact that the activities were postponed due to the pandemic situation with SAR-VOC2, it was necessary to reschedule the meetings so that it was decided that the next meeting in Romania would take place between February 21-25.
This was followed by an evaluation of Turkey's activities and a review of the positive aspects and those that need to be improved at future meetings. Romania was responsible for editing an evaluation questionnaire in Google forms which was sent on Whatsapp or email to all participants in mobility in Turkey. The questionnaire and its results can be found on the project website. (Evaluation/Questionnaire)
Diplomas / Certificates of participation were awarded to participants, students and teachers by the host school.
